Milan, Jan. 31, 2024 - Six students, children of employees of Milano Serravalle - Milano Tangenziali S.p.A., were honored today at the Company's Auditorium with the award named after Claudio De Albertis, ANCE's longtime president, as well as a member of the Company's Board of Directors from 2010 to 2016.

Six young people who have distinguished themselves for merit in their schooling received the scholarship, disbursed annually by Milano Serravalle - Milano Tangenziali S.p.A., divided as follows: two to students who have obtained a secondary school diploma, two for obtaining a bachelor's degree and two for obtaining a master's degree.

This year the award reaches its 10th year of recurrence, a child of the "Highway of Knowledge" project, which since 2016 has been named after the late Ing. Claudio De Albertis.

The award underscores and reconfirms the Company's commitment to supporting young talents, along with the implementation of the numerous partnership projects that the Company shares with prestigious Milanese universities, aimed at the inclusion of young graduates in the corporate structure.

Also significant are the doctoral students engaged in the development of particularly innovative research projects in the highway infrastructure sector.

The initiatives prepared by the Company are anchored in a structured corporate welfare policy.

For the anniversary, the Company was honored by the participation of Ing. Regina De Albertis, President of Assimpredil ANCE, daughter of the late Claudio, who personally proceeded to recognize the scholarships, sharing with President Beniamino Lo Presti, and CEO Pietro Boiardi.

"Meritocracy is an indispensable value for Milano Serravalle. Talent management, also addressed to the enhancement of deserving young people, the managerial class of tomorrow, constitutes an unceasing commitment for a Company, such as Milano Serravalle, strongly rooted in a particularly advanced and evolved economic-social territory. The ideal reproposal of the human and professional figure of extraordinary merit, such as that of Engineer Claudio de Albertis, is a stimulating way for those young people who want to be inspired by an example of virtue, competence, study and positive ambition." These were the words of Beniamino Lo Presti, president of Milano Serravalle - Milano Tangenziali S.p.A.

"We have now reached the tenth edition of this recognition of which we are very proud. Attention to its employees and their families is at the heart of the daily actions of Milano Serravalle Milano Tangenziali S.p.A. and this award is further proof of that. Firm is my belief and arouses my attention in the identification and care of young people with high potential, whose inclusion in the corporate structure enriches its level and raises its quality," said Pietro Boiardi, CEO of Milano Serravalle - Milano Tangenziali S.p.A.

Eng. Regina De Albertis said, "I wanted to be present today for the 10-year anniversary of the De Albertis Award to give concrete evidence of my approval of this project. I thank the Milano Serravalle Society that remembers in such a commendable way the memory of my father who believed in young people and the future.

Study and knowledge are absolutely fundamental because they make one free in life and work."
